  28.  Ctrl-H or Backspace to view the help screen shown above.
  29.  
  30.  F1    -   Initiate compression operation on tagged files or, if no files
  31.            are tagged, on the file under the cursor bar.
  32.  F2    -   Initiate decompression operation on tagged files (.ARC, .PAK, or
  33.            .ZIP) or, if no files are tagged, on the file under the cursor
  34.            bar.
  35.  F3    -   Change active drive for the currently active window.  The
  36.            default directory of the target drive will be displayed.
  37.  F4    -   Switch window contents.  The directory listing viewed in the
  38.            LEFT window will be displayed in the RIGHT window and vice
  39.            versa.  Toggles between windows.
  40.  F5    -   Display listing of directories for the drive in the active
  41.            window.  If the catalog file (AM40DIR.CAT) has not been read, it
  42.            will be accessed.  Toggles between file and directory displays.
  43.  F6    -   Automatically tag all files in the LEFT window.
  44.  F7    -   Convert tagged .ZIP files in the LEFT window to .PAK files in
  45.            the RIGHT window using PKUNZIP.EXE and PAK.EXE.
  46.  F8    -   Convert tagged .PAK files in the LEFT window to .ZIP files in
  47.            in the RIGHT window using PAK.EXE and PKZIP.EXE.
  48.  F9    -   Convert tagged .ZIP files in the LEFT window to .ARC files in
  49.            the RIGHT window using PKUNZIP.EXE and PKPAK.EXE.
  50.  F10   -   Convert tagged .ARC files in the LEFT window to .ZIP files in
  51.            the RIGHT window usint PKUNPAK.EXE and PKZIP.EXE

  53.  Space Bar  -  Tag an untagged file and untag a tagged file.
  54.  INS        -  Highlight files in the RIGHT directory that
  55.  RETURN     -  If the highlighted file is not compressed, call LIST.COM to
  56.                browse the contents of the file.
  57.  RETURN     -  If the highlighted file is compressed, view the directory
  58.                listing of the archive file.
  59.  INS        -  When viewing the DOS directory list, prompts for the path
  60.                name of a new directory to create.
  61.  DEL        -  When viewing the DOS directory list, delete (remove) the
  62.                highlighted directory if it contains no files.
  63.  Ctrl-A     -  If the RIGHT window is active and an archive file is
  64.                highlighted, match the compressed files within the archive
  65.                with any files in the LEFT window that have the same name
  66.                and extension but which are later in time/date.  Tag all
  67.                files meeting this criteria.
  68.  Ctrl-D     -  Scan the files in the LEFT directory window and update each
  69.                archive file found to the time/date of the latest compressed
  70.                file contained therein.
  71.  Ctrl-E     -  Calls the user defined editor program and passes the name of
  72.                the highlighted file as a parameter.
  73.  Ctrl-M     -  Define a new DOS file mask for the currently active window
  74.                and update the window display after accepting the new mask
  75.                entry.
  76.  Ctrl-P     -  If viewing the contents of an archive file, send a directory
  77.                listing of the files contained therein to the printer.
  78.  Ctrl-R     -  Initiate a re-scan of the drive active in the current window
  79.                to retrieve all directory names on the drive and update
  80.                AM40DIR.CAT in the root directory of that drive.
  81.  Ctrl-S     -  Initiated from the LEFT window.  Initiates the file search
  82.                function.  The search target may be a normal DOS file or a
  83.                compressed file that may reside in an archive file somewhere
  84.                on the system.
  85.  Ctrl-T     -  Automatically tag all files in the LEFT window.
  86.  Ctrl-U     -  Automatically untag all files in the LEFT window.
  87.  Ctrl-X     -  Refreshes the active display by reading, sorting, displaying
  88.                file names from the active directory.
  89.  Ctrl-Z     -  Invokes PKZIPFIX.EXE (must be in DOS PATH) for .ZIP file
  90.                highlighted in the LEFT window.
  91.  Alt-D      -  DELETES tagged files from the drive:\directory of the active
  92.                window.
  93.  Alt-S      -  Process tagged files as single archives.
  94.  Alt-T      -  Toggles between normal file display and the display of
  95.                tagged files only.
  96.  R Arrow    -  Switches to RIGHT window and leaves a full cursor bar to
  97.                mark the cursor position in the LEFT window.
  98.  L Arrow    -  Switches to the RIGHT window and leaves a full cursor bar to
  99.                mark the cursor positon in the RIGHT window.
  100.  ESC        -  From the main display, calls the menu to change the active
  101.                archive system.
  102.  Alt-F9     -  Same as the ESC key above.
  103.  
  104.  F1         -  May be used in lieu of the ENTER key while viewing the list
  105.                of directories to force BOTH windows to change to and display
  106.                the highlighted directory.
  107.  
  108.  These keys are active on IBM AT/PS2 enhanced keyboards only and only in the
  109.  presence of an extended keyboard drive (like FANSI).

  111.  F11        -  Same as Ctrl-S.
  112.  F12        -  Same as Ctrl-X.

  114.  Alt-X      -  Terminate ArcMaster and return to DOS.
  115.  
  116.  "*" key    -  Force the use of "*.*" as the file mask for the active
  117.                window.
